Campidoglio

Located 650m above sea level is the highest point of Scala. Campidoglio stretches out like a balcony on the side of Punta della Castagna. Along the road which leads to the path to Punta D’Aglio, you can enjoy the most beautiful views of Ravello and the Amalfi Coast. The village is characterized by the presence of so much greenery, it is considered the ideal place for excursions and picnics.

Built on a steep rock, the small church of St. Giovanni Decollato has its foundation on an older, now inexistent church. Worth noting is the bell tower which spans over three levels.

The monumental complex of the SS. Annunziata occupies a dominant position with respect to the Piazza della Cattedrale (Cathedral Square) and the dwellings surrounding central Scala.

The building was deconsecrated and after the restoration it was transformed into an Auditorium. It now hosts conferences and high training courses.
