Campidoglio

At 650 mt above sea level, it is the highest point in Scala.
Campidoglio stretches out like a balcony along the flank of Punta della Castagna.  Walking along the path which leads to Punta d’Aglio, you can admire the finest of views over Ravello and the Amalfi Coast. The hamlet is characterized by its greenery and is an ideal place for excursions and picnics.

Built on a sheer rock, the tiny church of St John of the Water has its foundations on an older church of which there are no longer traces. The bell tower is of interest with its three levels.

The monumental complex of the Holy Annunciation occupies a dominant position in relationship to the Cathedral square and the dwellings surrounding Scala Centro.

The building has been deconsecrated.  After restoration, it has been turned into an Auditorium which hosts conventions, meetings and high quality philosophical research and study groups organized by the Meridies Foundation.
